Each component or system is designed and assessed with respect to its form, fit, function, manufacturing method, assembly process and budget. Where appropriate, benchmarking studies, design FMEA's and the appropriate analysis will be carried out. Components are designed using the latest product design software.
If required we can source components and have an established and well trusted supplier base which allows us to closely manage the entire process. All suppliers have been chosen specifically for their expertise, high quality and attention to detail.
§ CAD Modelling & Drafting Services
We can create 3D models and 2D drawings to suit your requirement.
§ Data Conversion
Convert data to other formats: step, iges, stl, dxf etc.
§ Reverse Engineering
We will identify the most appropriate method to reverse engineer your component. There are many ways in which this
can be achieved and may involve one or more of the following; conventional inspection equipment; CMM; laser scanning
and computed tomography scanning plus others depending on the component design. We will produce the necessary
CAD model, drawing and manage the complete process.
§ Rapid Prototyping
We offer an intermediary service identifying the most appropriate method, managing the process and where
appropriate producing the necessary CAD data. Methods include: Stereolithography (SLA), Selective Laser
Sintering (SLS), Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS), Vacuum Casting, Sand Casting and CNC machining.
